Cross Connection Control Survey – Response Required
Fall River Valley Community Services District is conducting a system-wide review to ensure compliance with state drinking water regulations and to protect our public water supply.
As part of this effort, we are asking all customers to complete the Survey. This survey helps us determine whether your property requires a backflow prevention device. Please complete the survey by May 1, 2026 for EACH PROPERTY that you own.
Important Notice
If we do not receive your completed survey by May 1, 2026, your property (or properties) will be classified as requiring a backflow prevention device.
In that case:
- Installation of an approved backflow prevention device will be required at the customer’s expense.
- Customers will also be responsible for annual testing of the backflow device.
- The current cost for backflow testing and compliance is $5.00 per month, subject to change.
Why This Is Important
Backflow prevention devices help protect the public water system from potential contamination and are required under state regulations for certain types of properties and water uses.
Completing this survey helps us accurately determine your needs and may prevent unnecessary installation and testing costs.
